This page explains what Bid to Build Signs (a line of Bid to Build Systems) collects through bidtobuildsigns.com, why, who processes it, how long it is kept and how to ask us to delete it.
What we collect
- What you type into our forms: your name, company, work email, role, and, for a free sample, your phone number if you give it, shop size and project details.
- Files you upload for a free sample, or a link you paste to them.
- Where your visit came from: campaign tags in the link (UTM values), the first page you landed on and the referring site.
- Analytics without cookies: pages viewed and button clicks, counted without names or emails.
- When you click a drawing set download link, the time, your browser and a hashed version of your IP address.
Why
- To send what you asked for: the drawing set link, your free sample and the walkthrough.
- To send Field notes, only if you tick the box or sign up in the footer.
- To keep the forms free of spam and abuse.
Who processes it
- Resend, which sends our email and holds our contact list.
- Our storage provider, which holds uploaded files and the drawing set download in a private bucket.
- Our hosting provider and database provider, which run the site and store form submissions.
- Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a form was sent by a person.
- Plausible Analytics, which counts visits without cookies.
We don't sell or share your information with anyone else.
Your files
Plan sets belong to architects and owners. You confirm you're allowed to share the files you send. We use them only to make your sample, they are seen only by the people making it, and we never show your project anywhere without your written OK. Files are deleted 90 days after the walkthrough, or 180 days after you send them if no walkthrough happens, unless you ask us to keep them.
How long we keep the rest
We keep contact details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
The drawing set email, the sample emails and the walkthrough email are sent because you asked for them and carry no marketing. Field notes is marketing email: every issue has an unsubscribe link that works in one click.
Ask us to delete your information
Email max@bidtobuildsigns.com and we'll delete your submissions, files and contact record.
